BPC-157
Pentadecapeptide with tissue-protective properties. Used for accelerating recovery of joints, tendons, and muscles after injuries.
What is BPC-157?
BPC-157 (Body Protection Compound 157) is a synthetic peptide of 15 amino acids derived from a protective protein found in gastric juice. It has pronounced regenerative and anti-inflammatory properties, widely used by athletes and people with musculoskeletal injuries.
Effects
- Accelerates healing of tendons and ligaments
- Reduces joint inflammation
- Protects the gastrointestinal mucosa
- May have neuroprotective effects
Injection Protocol
Systemic injection: 250–500 mcg subcutaneously once daily, preferably in the morning on an empty stomach.
Local injection: Inject as close to the injury site as possible. 200–300 mcg twice daily.
Cycle: 4–8 weeks with a 2–4 week break.
Vial Reconstitution
Reconstituting a 5 mg vial with 2 ml bacteriostatic water gives 2500 mcg/ml:
- 250 mcg = 0.1 ml = 10 units (U-100)
- 500 mcg = 0.2 ml = 20 units (U-100)
Storage
Lyophilized powder: room temperature up to 3 months or refrigerator up to 2 years. After reconstitution: refrigerate, use within 7–10 days.
Important Warnings
- Not an FDA-approved drug — for research purposes only.
- Tissue repair requires adequate caloric intake — undereating slows regeneration.
- Contraindicated in pregnant women and those with active cancer.
Tissue repair requires a caloric surplus. Don't starve your recovery.
